Uptake of Intact Plasma Lipoproteins into the Arterial Wall of the Rabbit
It appears that accumulation of lipoproteins in the arterial wall should be regarded as a first stage in the development of atherosclerotic injury of vessels. Therefore it is of primary importance to study the mechanism of penetration of plasma lipoproteins into the arterial wall and their destiny therein.
