Abstract

The Department of Medicine of the University of Heidelberg takes part in a two-year trial for secondary prevention of myocardial infarction. This is a multicenter, prospective, randomized, double-blind study. The question to be answered is: Can aspirin reduce the number of reinfarctions? The study has been running now for nearly 2–1/2 years. The collecting period will soon be finished.
