Abstract

Colloidal iron was employed as a marker of vascular permeability under six different experimental conditions: hypertension, hypoxia, sensitization with horse serum, adrenalin administration and repeated injections of inflammatory and vasodilatory drugs. Under all of the above conditions the transmural transport of colloidal iron was increased as compared with controls.
