Zusammenfassung

Seit dem ersten Bericht über ein Zusammentreffen von Haut-Xanthomen und Stauungsikterus durch Addison u. Gull (1851) finden sich im Schrifttum in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts mehrfach Beschreibungen von Erkrankungen, die durch einen chronischen Ikterus und die Ausbildung von Hautveränderungen, insbesondere Xanthomen, aber auch vitiligo-artigen Bildern gekennzeichnet waren. Erwähnt seien die Arbeiten von Fagge (1873) sowie von Hutschinson et al. (1882). Ein historischer Rückblick findet sich bei del Fiugo (1959).
