Abstract
The material that is presented in this chapter is limited to that which relates directly or indirectly to the mechanism of action of the nitrosoureas. For a review of the results of experimental and clinical therapeutic trials with these agents, the reader is referred to other sections of this volume and to the review by Carter et al. (1972).
