Zusammenfassung

Wenn der Humangenetiker über das Thema „Be-wältigung des Fortschrittes“ mitdiskutieren soll, so erwartet man von ihm mit Recht Antworten auf zwei Fragen. Einmal: Welche biologischen Trends sind für die Zukunft des Menschen erkennbar? Und zweitens: Was kann man tun, um diese Trends in einer als „günstig“ angesehenen Richtung zu beeinflussen?
