Zusammenfassung

Fortschritte sind vor allem bei numerischen Methoden und bei Analysen allelopathischer Erscheinungen, aber auch bei der synthetischen Darstellung von örtlich und großräumig bedeutsamen Kennzeichen der Vegetation erzielt worden. Diese förderten Diskussionen über Aufgaben und Perspektiven der Vegetationskunde (ALEKSANDROVA, 2, 3; DOING; KORCHYAGIN; LAUSI; VAN DER MAAREL, 1; RABOTNOV; SHIMWELL; TÜXEN, 3; WESTHOFF).
