Organisation und Replikation des Eukaryonten-Chromosoms

Zusammenfassung

In den letzten Jahren kam man dem Verständnis der funktionellen Organisation und Reduplikation der Chromosomen höherer Organismen infolge der Einführung neuer Methoden näher als in den Jahrzehnten zuvor. Da zwischen der genetischen und biochemischen Organisation von Eukaryonten-Chromosomen einerseits und Prokaryonten-Genophoren andererseits beträchtliche Unterschiede auftreten, soll mit diesem Beitrag ein Bericht mit dem Schwergewicht “Höhere Organismen” gegeben werden. Es wird ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, daß die Fortschritte auf struktureller Ebene im Abschnitt “Morphologie und Entwicklungsgeschichte der Zelle” eingehend behandelt werden (s.S. 11 ff). Auch die Organisation und Replikation der Organellen-Genophoren, die große Ähnlichkeit mit den Prokaryonten aufweisen, sollen nicht in diesem Kapitel besprochen werden.
