Zusammenfassung
Eine Kurve c.I→ ℝn heißt (periodisch) geschlossen, wenn I = [a, b] kompakt ist mit ω:=b − a> 0 und wenn es eine Kurve c: ℝ→ℝn gibt so, daß c I = c und c(t+ω) = c(t) für alle t∊ℝ.
