Ankle and Foot Surgery

Abstract

The surgical procedures in which air instruments can be applied in foot and ankle surgery are too numerous to include in this chapter. The techniques described are those usually performed in the hospital operating room under general surgical conditions. Many surgeons of the foot perform minor procedures in their own surgical suites, and although the many techniques, including closed procedures, removal of ingrowing toenail etc., are not illustrated, the principles of application described in this chapter are applicable.
