Zusammenfassung
Die Wirtschaftstheorie scheint sich in einer Krise zu befinden. Die Ereignisse des vergangenen Jahrzehnts haben das Ansehen der Ökonomen sowohl aus dem neoklassisch-keynesianischen als auch aus dem monetaristischen Lager geschmälert und das Korpus der orthodoxen neoklassischen Theorie liegt auf der Schlachtbank. Inzwischen befindet sich, was von wesentlich weitreichenderer Bedeutung ist, die reale Welt in einer Wirtschaftskrise, die nicht ohne Bezug zur Krise in der Wirtschaf tstheorie ist. Denn diese Wirtschaftskrise — die zweite große Wirtschaftskrise des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts — wurde durch politische Ratschläge verursacht, die irrelevanten neoklassischen ökonomischen Denkschulen entstammen.
