Effects of Fluid Compressibility and Ground Absorption on the Vibration of Structure

Summary

Based on the background of the elastic cantilever structure for fluid medium, this paper discusses the dynamic coupled interaction of vibrating system, which is a structure, compressible fluid and ground absorption. In this paper, the vibration of structural system is analyzed by means of series expansion, matrix method and a combination of finite element method and boundary point techniques. Fluid compressibility and ground absorption to pressure waves are primarily considered. The results has indicated that under the some conditions, fluid compressibility and ground absorption have a large effect and a good agreement with experimental data.
