Three-Dimensional Viscoelastic Large Deformation Analysis By Using A Total Lagrangian Incremental Finite Element Method

Summary

Employing the Total Lagrangian (T.L.) approach and the integral constitutive formulation expressed by Kirchhoff stress increment and Green strain increment, the continued equilibrium equation is obtained. It is simpler than that given by Updated Lagrangian (U.L.) approach, therefore computer time may be saved. The computational results confirm that the numerical value obtained by both of the T.L. and U.L. approach are identical.
