Abstract

Early in January, 1967 I took part in Löwdin’s annual symposium on Sanibel Island, which that year was in honor of John Slater. Later in the month I gave a talk at a special celebration in Tallahassee in my honor, in the presence of the governor, members of the Board of Trustees of the Florida University system, and friends. I think it was a good talk.
