Abstract
In this chapter we will study a particular supersymmetric quantum model introduced by Witten in 1981 [Wit81]. Originally, this model has been designed to serve as a simple example for studying the SUSY-breaking mechanism in quantum field theories. However, in the last decade this model has found applications in many other areas of theoretical physics. Some of these applications will be discussed in this book.
