Zusammenfassung

Die sich änderde globale Wirtschaft hat neue Herausforderungen für Business Schools und die durch sie geschaffene Lernumwelt hervorgebracht. Die traditionelle Methode der internationalen Ausbildung, determiniert durch die jeweiligen Lehrkörper und Lehrpläne, ist sowohl aus Sicht des Studenten als auch der Arbeitgeber kaum angemessen. Dieser Beitrag schlägt ein alternatives Value Added Learning Model (VALM) vor, mittels dessen Business Schools die Möglichkeit gegeben werden kann, ihr Programm zu internationalisieren. VALM stellt einen interaktiven Ansatz dar, der sich — unter Einschluß von Studenten, Lehrkörper und der Allgemeinheit — mit den Internationalisierungsfragen auseinandersetzt, die die Business Schools betreffen. Beispielhaft wird die sogenannte Global Village Simulation herausgestellt.
