Abstract

Ten years ago the first International Conference on Macromolecular Metal Complexes (MMC I, 1985) was held in Beijng China as the result of efforts of several active research groups in the world who had discovered the enormous potentiality offered to material science by the systems obtained by combining organic and inorganic macromolecular compounds with metal salts, metal complexes, metal chelates or metal clusters.
