Abstract

Tyrosine kinases of the non-receptor type are enzymes that lack transmembrane and extracellular domains. As known so far, their target proteins are membrane receptor proteins, membrane-associated proteins and cytoplasmic proteins (Pawson and Hunter, 1994).
