Abstract

During the last decade, outcome in severely head-injured patients has improved due to changes in management regimens, better organization, introduction of guidelines in various countries [1,2], founding of the American and European Brain Injury Consortia (ABIC and EBIC), and other factors. Altered pharmacotherapy is one of these.
