Zusammenfassung
Accommodation beinhaltet das Überleben eines Allo-oder Xenotransplantates in Gegenwart von spezifischen gegen den Spender gerichteten Antikörpern und Complement [1]. Das Konzept der Accommodation geht auf Nierentransplantationen zurück,welche erfolgreich gegen die ABO Blutgruppenbarriere durchgeführt wurden, wobei eine perioperative Reduktion der anti-AB Antikörper zusätzlich zur routinemäßigen T-Zell Immunsuppression das Überleben der transplantierten Organe ermöglichte, welche dann trotz Normalisierung der anti-AB Antikörpertiter im Empfängerserum nach wenigen Tagen nicht abgestoßen wurden [2].
