Zusammenfassung
Neben den chirurgischen Verfahren ist die Röntgentherapie eine sehr gute Alternative zur Behandlung maligner Hauttumoren, ist sie doch schmerzlos, ambulant möglich und funktionell erhaltend. Im Vordergrund stehen als Indikationen für die Rönt-genweichstrahlen Basaliome und Plattenepithelkarzinome (Spinaliome). Je nach Tumorgröße können dem Patienten auch unterschiedliche Fraktionie-rungsschemata angeboten werden, d. h. kleinere Tumoren können mit höheren Einzeldosen einbis zweimal pro Woche, größere Tumoren eher mit niedrigeren Einzeldosen 3- bis 5mal pro Woche, bestrahlt werden.
