Abstract
Magnetic resonance provides a large variety of techniques suitable for studies of molecular motions in a rather direct and detailed way. The most important phenomena of interest in this respect are nuclear-spin relaxation, self-diffusion, and exchange between sites with different resonance parameters. The methods in use for corresponding studies are based on very different principles. Nevertheless, one may recognize a scheme (Fig. 8.1) common to all three classes of techniques.
