Manualmedizinische Diagnostik und Therapie bei Säuglingen

Abstract

Segmental dysfunction in infancy inpairs normal sensorimotor development. Using the example of the so-called “lop-sided infant syndrome”, the consequences of blockage of the spinal motoricity are illustrated and the potential of manual medicine diagnosis and therapy is set forth.

Zusammenfassung

Segmentale Dysfunktionen im Säuglingsalter beeinträchtigen die normale sensomotorische Entwicklung. Am Beispiel des sog. „schiefen Säuglings“ werden die Auswirkungen von Blockierungen auf die spinale Motorik erläutert und die Möglichkeiten manualmedizinischer Diagnostik und Therapie dargestellt.
