Abstract

The anatomy of the biliary and pancreatic ducts is well known (Figs. 1, 2); this chapter recalls a few basic concepts, considering particularly those anatomical structures that are identifiable on MR Cholangiographie images in normal and in pathological conditions. We also evaluate the view of biliary ducts in conventional MR images, which are acquired in any case when a MR cholangiograpic study is performed.
