Zusammenfassung

Die Dopplersonographie als funktionelle Methode, gibt Auskunft über die Dynamik der venösen Blutströmung. Man benutzt in der Regel ein direktionales cw-(continuous-wave-) Dopplergerät mit Oszilloksop und Schreibeinheit, wodurch die Dokumentation der Strömungskurven ermöglicht wird. Unter bestimmten Bedingungen (Bed-side Untersuchung, Hausbesuch) genügt zur orientierenden Diagnostik auch ein unidirektionales Gerät (sog. Taschendoppler), das lediglich die akustische Information des Dopplersignals widergibt
