Zusammenfassung
Unter dem Oberbegriff „hämorheologische Erkrankungen“ werden an dieser Stelle die myeloproliferativen Syndrome, vor allem exemplarisch die essentielle Thrombozythämie, daneben die Polycythämia vera als Hauptursache lokaler Thrombosen abgehandelt, während plasmatische Gerinnungsstörungen als Ursache arterieller Verschlußprozesse ausgeklammert bleiben, da sie hämorheologischen Erkrankungen im engeren Sinne nicht zuzurechnen sind. Auf der anderen Seite gewinnt im Zeitalter der invasivdiagnostischen und der interventionellen Radiologie die Mobilisation orstständigen wandadhärenten Gefäßmaterials mit embolischer Verschleppung zunehmend an Bedeutung; als Beispiel sog. Mikroembolien wird deshalb die Cholesterinkristallembolie gesondert abgehandelt
