Zusammenfassung
Nachdem bislang zur Erfassung von duodenalem Reflux nur unbefriedigende Methoden (pH-Metrie, Szintigraphie, Endoskopie, Aspirationstests) zur Verfügung standen, ist seit kurzer Zeit eine neue diagnostische Methode möglich [5]. Es handelt sich hierbei um das tragbare Spektrophotometer Bilitec 2000 (Fa. Synectics), das durch ein fiberoptisches Kabel Bilirubin als Marker für duodenalen Saft messen kann (Abb. 1). Bilirubin ist das wichtigste Pigment der Galle und liegt in der menschlichen Galle in einer Konzentration von 20–800 mg/dl (0,34–13,68 mmol/1) vor. Der charakteristische Absorptionsgipfel von Bilirubin ist bei 450 nm [1]. Das Prinzip des Bilitec-2000-Systems beruht auf seiner Fähigkeit, das Absorptionsspektrum von Bilirubin fiberoptisch während einer ambulanten Messung zu erkennen. Bilirubin kann somit als Marker für duodenoösophagealen Reflux benutzt werden.
