Abstract

In this chapter, we will first give a summary of the diagram visualisation approach underlying the Extended Automatic Visualisation Engine (EAVE). Then, we will discuss our results and compare them with the state of the art. This is followed by an outline concerning commercial applications of the EAVE system, other than using it in a publishing environment, as proposed in the introduction. Finally, we will delineate interesting open problems to be solved in the future.
