Zusammenfassung

Eingriffe wegen einer Peritonitis stehen zahlenmäßig an 10. Stelle aller allgemeinchirurgischen Eingriffe. Obwohl das primäre Krankheitsbild einer Peritonitis seltener ist, führt die große Zahl an Mehrfacheingriffen beim gleichen Patienten zu dieser hohen Operationsfrequenz (z.B. bei Etappenlavage im Mittel 10 Eingriffe pro Patient).
