Experimental Studies on Singlet Formation in High-Tc Oxides and Quantum Spin Systems

Abstract

Detailed studies on the singlet formation in high-T c oxides and quantum spin systems have been carried out by various experimental methods including neutron scattering and NMR. The results can clarify how the anomalous metallic phase of high-T c oxides are formed with decreasing temperature and present important information on the mechanism of the superconductivity.
