  • John S. Hoffman

Abstract

Appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, air conditioners, heat pumps, televisions, phone answering machines, hot water heaters, lights and home computers all consume electricity or gas, all cost citizens significant amounts of money, and all indirectly cause large amounts of pollution to be emitted.
