Abstract
For Global warming and many other reasons, the spotlight of efficiency has been directed towards the reduction in energy consumption of all types of machinery, but none more so than in fluid or turbo-machinery such as fans, pumps and compressors. In addition, savings in running costs can usually justify a small increase in first cost, even for the humble fan.
