Zusammenfassung
Wenn ein mobiler Roboter ein Objekt transportiert, ist dieses unweigerlich der Dynamik des Roboters ausgesetzt. Bei bestimmten Objekten ist dies unerwünscht oder sogar gefährlich.
Eine Stewart-Plattform ist aufgrund ihres Aufbaus in der Lage, Personen oder Objekten, die sich auf ihr befinden, Beschleunigungen zu vermitteln. Setzt man nun die Plattform als Lastaufnahmesystem auf einem mobilen Roboter ein, so kann sie im Gegenzug auch die Beschleunigungen des Roboters kompensieren.
Darüberhinaus bietet eine solche Kombination weitere Vorteile. Die Plattform kann an Übergabestationen die Ungenauigkeiten in der Position des Roboters ausgleichen oder als Assistenzsystem dem Benutzer die Positionierung einer schweren Last erleichtern.
