Abstract
With worldwide more than 700,000 new cases, breast cancer presents the most frequent disease of women. The earlier the malignant tumor is detected the better the survival rate of patients. It has been shown that detection of smaller tumors (<1 cm) by mammography has resulted in an increase of overall survival.
