Late Complications

  • Chapter
Penetrating Keratoplasty

Abstract

Transplant failure of various etiologies may occur even after years have elapsed. This means that the patient requires long-term observation after keratoplasty. The incidence and prognostic importance of the individual complications observed following penetrating keratoplasty change over the years. Rational postoperative treatment should take this into account.
