Zusammenfassung

Die Sexualität ist ein sehr komplexer Bereich menschlichen Verhaltens, bei dem biologische, psychologische und soziologische Faktoren beteiligt sind, die alle gleichzeitig wirken; das Endergebnis ist ein einziges, zur Einheit verschmolzenes Phänomen, das seiner Natur nach nicht nur biologisch, psychologisch oder soziologisch ist (Kinsey et al. 1948). Das Zusammenspiel psychischer und biologischer Faktoren ist bekannt: Die sexuelle Reaktionsfähigkeit wird gemäß Internationaler Klassifikation psychischer Störungen (ICD-lO) als psychosomatischer Prozeß gesehen. Seltener wird an den soziokulturellen Einflu6 gedacht. Ein Beispiel hierfur ist die Einstellung zur Sexualitat der Frau, die auch heute noch von Akzeptanz in unserer bis zu starker Unterdrßckung in anderen Kulturen reicht. Es ist naheliegend anzunehmen, da6 diese Unterschiede in der Einstellung Differenzen im Sexualverhalten von Frauen in verchiedenen Gesellschaften verursachen.
