Zusammenfassung
Orckit was founded in 1990. We are a company devoted exclusively to DSL, or Digital Subscriber Line, a technology which is now quite familiar but which only three years ago was relatively unheard of amongst the general public. Today we have over 600 employees, almost half of whom are engineers. Based in Tel-Aviv, Orckit is a publicly-traded company (traded in Nasdaq) with a market CAP of over US$ 1 billion. (Incidentally, Israel is probably the country with the second-or third-highest number of companies traded in Nasdaq).
