Nachfolgend wird untersucht, wie sich Restschuldbefreiung bei Auslandsberührung verhält. Da sich Restschuldbefreiung stets an ein insolvenzrechtliches Liquidationsverfahren1 anschließt, könnte internationales Insolvenzkollisionsrecht2 die Fragen grenzüberschreitender Restschuldbefreiungen beantworten.
