Zusammenfassung

Kappis [28] berichtete 1914 erstmals über die Anästhesie der Ganglia coeliaca im Rahmen von operativen abdominellen Eingriffen. Der Autor empfahl zunächst eine beidseitige Punktion in Bauchlage mit jeweils 30–40 ml Procain, später [29] nahm er die Nervenblockade mit gleich gutem Erfolg mit einseitiger Injektion eines größeren Lokalanästhetikavolumens vor.
