Zusammenfassung

Die Herstellung kolloidaler Dispersionen fasziniert heute noch genauso wie in der ersten Hälfte dieses Jahrhunderts, zumal dadurch auch ein (manchmal nur latent vorhandenes) ästhetisches Bedürfnis befriedigt wird. In älteren Lehrbüchern der Kolloidchemie sind viele Beispiele für die Herstellung kolloidaler Dispersionen aufgeführt (Zsigmondy, 1927; Edelmann, 1968; Thiele, 1950; Ostwald, 1943). Heutzutage genügt es nicht mehr, lediglich eine kolloidale Verteilung zu erzeugen, vielmehr werden bestimmte Anforderungen an Art, Gestalt, Größe und Größenverteilung der Teilchen gestellt.
