Abstract
Sequential procedures by ARMITAGE [2] are to test the equivalence of the probabilities on two treatments for selecting the better of two treatments in clinical trials, then a response is a random variable and immediate. The group sequential procedures by POCOCK [9], O’BRIEN-FLEMING [8], FLEMING-HARRINGTON-O’BRIEN [5] and so on can be used more than one subject at a time, thus it is available to test the superiority between two processes in a production system.
