Abstract
Although GCE has fulfilled its initial objectives to a large extent, it is also clear that much remains to be done in the field of cloud/aerosol interaction and cloud chemistry. In some respects, an even more complicated picture has emerged from the GCE results, compared to previous knowledge of cloud physical and chemical properties. This paragraph aims to summarise what we believe are the most important issues which need to be addressed in future cloud studies.
