Abstract
In the previous chapter dealing with root and nerve lesions affecting the arm three points were emphasized:
-
1.
Anatomical features that place nerves in vulnerable positions in fibrous tunnels against bone or traversing muscles
-
2.
Sensory disturbances that defy anatomical explanation and can make sensory symptoms somewhat misleading
-
3.
The reliability of motor signs utilizing both the reflex responses and muscle weakness in distinguishing between nerve and root injuries.
