Zusammenfassung

Im Gegensatz zur klassischen Form atrioventrikulärer akzessorischer Leitungsbahnen werden zusätzliche Leitungsbahnen, die nicht in typischer Weise vom Vorhof zur Kammer durch die AV-Grube verlaufen oder atypische Leitungseigenschaften aufweisen, als „Präexzitationsvarianten“ bezeichnet (Gallagher 1983). Daneben gibt es eine Reihe von anatomischen Anomalien, die einen abnormen Verlauf akzessorischer Leitungsbahnen bedingen können. Aufgrund der jeweiligen anatomischen Besonderheiten oder gegebenenfalls elektrophysiologischen Charakteristika kann die elektrophysiologische Diagnostik und insbesondere eine Ablation dieser arrhythmogenen Substrate erschwert sein.
