IAEA Coordinated Research Programme on Measurement and Analysis of Double Differential Neutron Emission Spectra in (p,n) and (alpha,n) Reactions
A summary report on the Co-ordinated Research Programme on Measurement and Analysis of Double Differential Neutron Emission Spectra from (p,n) and (α,n) reaction is presented. Eight laboratories participated in the programme under which measurements were performed on 18 nuclides in the mass region 45-65, 90-100 and 180-210 at bombarding energy ranges of 9 to 12 MeV for alpha particles. 5-25 MeV from protons and 5 to 8 MeV for neutrons Extraction of level density information through systematic and constant analysis of all the data is being done. General conclusions arising out of this work are discussed.
