Abstract
This report presents the status of the development by AMICE of a formal language to be used for enterprise description: at the end of the modelling phase of CIMOSA, the enterprise model obtained will be written in IDL (Implementation Description Language) and the corresponding model of the enterprise will be the IDM (Implementation Description Model). This model will be executable by the CIMOSA Integrating Infrastructure. Globally, the aim is to show which technical choices have been taken and what are the main features of this first version of IDL. For that purpose, it has been found useful to have some additional sections about formal languages, to place correctly IDL. We will also emphasize in this report the relation between the Modelling Framework (MFW) and the IIS Integrating Infrastructure). There are three main issues involved here.
