Abstract

In this chapter, the spectral characteristics of few-electron highly charged ions are considered on the basis of relativistic and Quantum Electro Dynamic (QED) theories: energy levels, Lamb shifts, binding energies, transition probabilities and others. It comprises detailed tables of these characteristics obtained from experiment or sophisticated theoretical calculations.
