Zusammenfassung
Grundsätzlich gehört die laterale Retinakulumspaltung zu den eher selten durchgeführten arthroskopischen Operaionen. Zu berücksichtigen ist hierbei, dass die Patella wie eine Marionette an verschiedenen „Einflussfaden“ hangt und die Störung des patellofemoralen Systems oft eine multifaktorielle Ursache hat.
