Zusammenfassung

Der Ausdruck „Arteriosklerose“ beschreibt den pathologisch-anatomischen Zustand der Verhärtung (=skleros) von Arterien. Diese Sklerose und die sich daraus ergebende Funktionseinschrankung der Arterie kann sich auf dem Boden unterschiedlicher Erkrankungen entwickeln.
