Zusammenfassung

In der Endoprothetik ist die begrenzte Überlebenszeit der Endoprothesen ein nach wie vor ungelöstes Problem. Die häufigste Versagensursache ist die aseptische Lockerung, die ein multifaktorielles Geschehen darstellt 6,7,14,17. Polyethylenabrieb, Zementbruch, Fehlpositionierungen der Prothesenkomponenten und Prothesendesign bzw. Implantatmaterialien sind nur einige Faktoren, die mit der aseptischen Lockerung ursächlich in Zusammenhang gebracht werden.
